09310–17010 Transaxle Gear Remover & Replacer SST 09310–17010 (09310–07010, 09310–07020, 09310–07030) I'm fed up trying to get my 5th gear assembly on via the BFH and socket method.
I engineered my own press. I took my harbor freight puller set. Bought a couple 10x1.5 nuts, a 12x1.5 bolt and washer. Used these and turned the puller into a press. I was able to press on the gear without an issue.
I ghetto rigged my puller to act as a press. A couple nuts and a bolt to thread into the shaft turned my puller into a press. Granted it didn't help that the stupid retaining clip that should go over the hub was infact over the 5th gear preventing the clutch hub from sliding further onto the shaft...
