It's on the neck of the airbox by default. You can use aftermarket pipe like the one on your pic, but the inner diameter has to match te oem one exactly.

That's where I'm stuck. I would love to use the stock airbox, but the st202 won't fit even with modification because it hits the starter. Any suggestions

?? I'm using the ST202 airbox in mine, and I know at least one other guy with same setup in an ST162. The battery is a tight fit, and I had to remove a plate from above the left side engine mount, but it fits. I'm sure I posted a pic in the engine bay topic.

Please for the love of god, use the stock airbox if you are one of the few lucky ones that have it :) It's very rare and nearly anyone is having problems with custom setups.

Or are you using a different gearbox?

I can check the color of the wire for you, but my car is currently at the painter, I'll get it back tomorrow if all goes well.

That info will be interesting, all the parts for our BEAMS rebuild are here so once that's done we can start looking at removing the REV1 from my 162 and dropping the redtop into my car.Got the standard airbox luckily,i don't have the BEAMS clocks from the 202 the engine came out of (I have the car though) so yeah the wiring for the rev counter etc etc is the one thatll be tricky. Are you going to use the converter that st162Rocket used on his?As the Beams clocks in the 202 run on a 12v feed
