has anyone ever tried doing what they do on WRC and other associated races? they lower the car, but cut the wheel wells. if this was done to a celica, what do u guys think of it? basically giving the car a supercar look, it give out the idea that the wheel wells are made like that, instead of having the fenders cover the top of the tyre like custom lowered cars. heres the first pic, stock second one, fenders cut third one, lowered... i think this looks amazing, especially at the front if somebody wants to do a profesionall prototype of this again, in photoshop feel free, cuz this was done in paint
I did this to the rears on my celica. Problem is, that the inner well comes up and meets the outer body in a V shape where you need to cut. So you can easily do the cut, but then you need to weld a strip of steel back in there to reattach the two. You can kinda make it out in this picture: http://www.garbled.net/tim/album/celica ... 301_Sm.jpg
i reckon 3rd pic looks really good....if you focus mainly on how low it looks and fade out the dodgy cut job (thanks to paint) then yer i would love my car to be that low
