Hello guys. I used the search button and tried to find if it was already discussed or not but nothing came up. I am wondering; What is your average MPG ? (city and highway) What octane gas do you use ? Do you use injector cleaner or fuel system cleaner ? Since my commute is pretty short I usually drive 5 - 15 miles a day and don't really use highway. I get between 25 - 26 mpg. My car usually runs on 89 octane but when I change the oil I add "Gumout All in one fuel system cleaner" and fill the tank with 91 octane. That may not make any sense but thats what I do
i get anywhere from 300 t0 350 per tank, filling up about 30 miles past the "gas light" coming on.......just depends on how i drive
ive got 250k and have a 3sfe 5spd gets around 28mpg but i have gotten as good as 32mpg really babying it on the highway im assuming a fresher motor with less of a lead foot could do better.
Wow, were you hammering it all the time?! Well, it depends on how much I drive in cities, but I usually got around 600km. Now in winter it gets down to about 550, and the best I ever got was 700, with minimal city. From 50 litres. Sorry, I don't know how much mpg is that.
a mix of sensible driving and a bit of a lead foot sometimes. weird thing is if i take it on the highway, like trips down to seattle from vancouver, i get 500-600km per tank
I am really impressed that you guys have pretty good mpg / kmpl . Maybe I should replace the fuel filter, spark plugs and the wires ?
Since the t-belt and the transmission swap I average 23-25 mpg, but I usually fill up when I hit the last mark before E. I use to get around 30 with the stock box, but that's long since changed. Getting worse with the intake too.....
I've rarely let it slide to the gas light. I usually fill up at 1/4 and I hover around 300 miles ish. Used to be worse but new fuel filter helped that.
