Hard to tell, no-one actually seems to have them. Google "eBay coilover" and you'll find heaps of threads from different forums posing pretty much the same question as you've asked, and the responses are generally "I wouldn't trust them", "why don't you buy XYZ brand instead", "I have a mate who knows a guy whose next door neighbours cousin said they were shit", and so on. You may have to be the pioneer :hehe

Actually there are two members here who have them (Jay-Dee was the first).

They say (no, not from the Stig) that since 2010 they made more than 400 custom sets, and the feedback is good on reliability and quality too. Of course that can be a lie, but I don't think they could sell the sets for more then a year now based on lies. Furthermore, I watched the eBay add evolve, and it's very believable, more and more pics and details going up as they sell more and more sets.

So for me, they are sympatic, and I'm waiting 'til I get there on my list to buy a set.

the guy made it because he had a st162 at some point. I will certainly buy this set when funds are available. So if I have a job as from february again I probably order them :)

I haven't heard anything negative about them yet, so I would think that they're pretty good. :p

Thank you LionTR, I happily stand corrected; my initial searching of this site didn't show anything up, but with the user name you have provided I was able to find his build thread: http://www.st162.net/forums/viewtopic.php?p=93115#p93115. Also, st162rocket was talking about buying the same units in his build thread, but doesn't say whether he ever did or not http://www.st162.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=101&t=3920&start=120

Good to see these parts get a positive review on this site!

Better, now only 770 biscuits my friend :hehe

That's right, another good point. My boss had an accident with his MR2, where one corner of suspension was damaged. He had to wait more than a month, while Tein produced and made him purchase the whole thing.

Mxp_57 was is the one who supplies them. he also runs them on his 165. all reports seem ok. many have bought them over here in aus.the only negative thing i have heard is from a mate of mine. he had alot of fitment issues and had to wait on new parts. but he also said they where great to deal with and very helpful when he had problems.
If for street use they are great. track use....... unsure

I never said that they do :)
What I meant was, that this company supplies parts for repair and maintenance, while a big company like Tein makes you purchase the whole assembly again.

Hey, I know who make these. It's Cedric aka MXP_57. His thread was deleted back when the forum crashed on the old server but he's still a member.

I've been in contact with him for sometime about coilovers since they are custom made. He told me that he moved away from selling on ebay since ebay was awful at handling any of their customer service. He managed to developed his own website. Check it out. I'm ordering mine in the coming week.
