What do you think about, while drivng Celica ?

I love to the celica! always get asked "Is that turbo'ed?" I find myself looking for other 4th gens when I'm out an about lol :naughty

Lol I never use my AC.
That's what the windows are for.

 

But your car is white they reflect more light there by bringing in less heat.

Eh nonetheless, I'd drive the car anyway. Even for a road trip. I don't Alexis is ready for a road trip though.

 

I think the color is not affecting much, as the T16 is like a glass palace compared to newer cars, they are more like bunkers. There is such a big surface of window on it, that I'm afraid of different things and people melting in it on a hotter summer day (I even have an aftermarket sunroof made of glass)

Sometimes I wish I have aircon, for example on highways where I don't pull down the window, or in big city traffic, where the pulled down window isn't enough. But then I think of that I'm not giving any HP to the AC compressor And it would mean more weight on the front. No, not on this car. But my other car definitely will have an AC!

 

I agree with Lion re the colour and windows, a decent window tint will cool things down and preserve your interior too.

To be honest if I had a sunroof I would think of deleting the A/C. I only use it on downhills and flats anyway.
It's the only private car I've ever had with A/C so I do enjoy behaving like a yuppie sometimes :cool

 

i'm really opting for tint. My AC hasn't been running for a while and I might have to spend money replacing hoses and such. Plus the high cost of putting in and draining freon as you said in another post Stig. Actually, I'm fine without the AC. Sometimes I don't even turn on my radio and I just enjoy the pleasure of driving such a car, the 4th gen :driving
