As the title says, curious to know what a 3SGE is worth in your part of the world. There not worth much here, I've paid $300 for a good runner (in my daily driver), selling one for $250 and just bought a wreck and got the engine for an extra $50, all in $AUD. From what I've seen there ridiculously expensive in the US? :?
In the Boise valley they are worth nothing. There are only 4 or 5 people around who would even recognise a nice 4th gen. 2 of them have all-tracs. Nobody has a use for 'em here.

Trel - Check the toymods.net forums - there are a few for sale their every so often. Unfortunately most are in NSW/Vic/Qld - Are you after a complete engine, or just parts? If its parts I can probably ship what you need, but a complete engine is probably too hard.
I've got a 5sfe i can use, but if I can find a 3sge i'll take it, make everything easier. Need engine and gearbox, and with the 5sfe, a whole bunch of other shit. I'm in Perth Australia so need something local. and cheap. and fast. Cheers.
In the Uk, the values can vary, We still have a number of mint ones arround, bare in mind the UK only got one version of the 162 and the only options where auto and metalic paint / two tone. A few good examples have sold for £1,300 recently, which is APPROX $2,550 WHICH AINT BAD. However there are a number of rusty clunkers out there which go for between £150 - £600 or £$285 - $1170. all prices approc USD. In fact they are valued in a number of occasions at more than a 165, due to the higher running costs and probabilty of it being wrecked. The convertibles never took off over here, so are very rare, most are in a bad state, but good uns can make $2,000.
