Weird Activity Coming from the Cam [not mine, dads]

So heres the prob..
get in
starts up drives down the road
if the peddle is a little bit down = runs fine
if the peddle is full throttle = runs fine
if the peddle is 1/2 throttle,it will lunge..hesitate and then lunge again..untill i get out of it.
tranny isnt slipping ..its somthing else..It seems like its fuel-timing issue..Any one else with a prob like this?

all new plugs/plug wires/dizzy
plug tube..? like the tube where the plug connects to the spark plug ?

 

I pulled the plugs one at a time and evey time the idle went to crap so the wires are all good..and no, No oil in the plug holes

 

ok..thats the lil screw knob deal on the top of the Tb right?
-has a lil plastic cover..yes?

i adjusted it one full turn to the right and it runs alot better now.

 

left = less air..right = more air
