im gonna run a staggered rim set. im sticking with 17's what is the max i can go offset wise and be cool with the strut? for the rear? for the front? i dont wanna run spacers anymore. and i want the deepest lip i can get on the rear.
im moving down to 15's i need to know if i can run these wheels 15x7.5 +32 in the rear? will i need spacers as i have a 25mm spacer or can i run them without?
you want the deepest lip? 15x7.5 +28 is what you want if you don't want spacers. you'll have to roll your fenders though or else it'll rub.
Not exactly. Rim width counts both inside and outside, but it depends on ET as well. In case of the spacer, the rim only goes outside.
right. sorry, 8am post 6.5 wide wheels + 25mm spacer touch reach as far as a 7 wide wheel would touch on the fender.
My old setup... 15x7 0 offset w/ 195 50 15 tires 0 camber / fenders NOT rolled on B&G springs Equals major fender rub front and rear
so i found my set up... running 185/55/15 tires all around 15x7/40 offset (front) 15x7/10 offset (rear) might have to use spacer maybe not.....pics when installed for sure tho
mine are 15x7 + 45. both front and rear. iirc i have 5mm spacers on the rear to clear the strut. this allows me to run a 225 45. no rubbing or rolling. car is lowered 1.5in. also have f/r sways and koni eibach strut/spring. so im super stiff (may help aviod fender rubbage). im pretty sure this is the widest tire you could fit w/o rolling or flares. -pics?
