    Hey guys, how’s it going??
I am looking for some detailed vacuum hose diagrams for the emissions system as well as the t-vis. I put my new engine in over the weekend and when I removed the engine I didn’t mark the vacuum lines when I took them off. I took a look on celicatech.com and the diagrams I found didn’t help me.. my repair manual didn’t help me at all either as it doesn’t have any diagrams in it. The engine is in now, but it has yet to start.

Also, what kind of tranny fluid should I use in my manual transmission. I purchased some 90w100 gear oil; is this the correct fluid?

Anyway, ill check back here tomorow.. Hopefully someone can help me :p

I checked on the internet and it said "The S51 and S53 transmissions use Dexron II ATF." ATF meaning "Automatic Transmission Fluid" I believe. Ill have to take back my gear fuild tonight..

true true...but some people here have used gear oil and actually have had improved results..since our trannys are prone to shitty synchro`s ..I wouldnt think that thin atf would help....We definetly need more ideas on this

Well 3 years ago my synchro's were effed. I flushed it and ran with full synthetic 75w90 gear oil and it almost cleared it all up....then I put another tranny in and thought why not run the same stuff.....I haven't had any issues with it

so, what kind of tranny fluid would you guys recommend. The gear oil I have for my tranny is the same grade as schmooots (75W90) Is this gear oil ok, or should I return it to get what’s recommended in the manual (Dexron II ATF) ????

    Thanks
    -Gabe
