Do you use them? which bands? and does it fit on your ct26? looking to get one but not sure so I thought I ask you guys
overkill says the guy with the n/a motor. I use the insulation kit from DEI aswell as the factory heat shield. works well at keeping the heat in the turbo. it was around 100 bucks i think, wrapped up the turbo and a good length of my exhaust pipe.
he is a mod for a reason so wouldnt be quick to judge. Turbo bags are good but not exactly the place to start in heat management. I agree with Kevin a FMIC setup is much better way to spend the dollars. As for other heat protection etc id start with things like exaust manifold, dump, cold air box and of coarse a bonnet vent :twisted: lol heat shields like what alwaysidewyz has are great. Heat wrap is agreat cheap mean of cooling down zaust and ceramic coating while pricey is great plus looks cool
water is 4 times better at transferring thermal energy than air. there is NO fmic you can put together for 100 bucks, more likely will cost you 600. i dont judge anyone, just stating my observations, moderator or not.
i beg to differ im 18 with alot of spare time and unlimited downloads i meant money towards a fmic not a whole setup. We have alot of noobs come on here. yours is a name i didnt recognise (i since realised iv seen you on celicatech) and was just politely trying to say careful thats all.
