Who knows the correct number for th ST165 ?? I gotme the 16340-SP010 but can't find the info needed to confirm it's correct...
to my knowledge the only trd thermostat i can get my hands on are for everything but the 165. the 165 has a unique thermostat and i have yet to find a replacement that actually works proper. everytime i find something i think might be a golden egg it winds up being 2nd gen stuff.
been digging into this the whole day and found out the part I have is for a second gen 3sgte...that means the guy selling me this item years ago delivered the wrong part... So I sent him a mail...maybe we can trade it.. I found out that the ST165 has below OEM nr : 90916-03060 If you turn the search around you will find many many cars having the same partnumber... many 4a-ge, 5sfe, 3sg(t)e and so on... Then I looked the TRD site up (http://www.trdparts.jp/english/parts_thermostat.html)and found they also had OEM nr: 90916-03046 If you look this partnr up it seems also fitting to the same cars as the previous OEM partnr... So, my guess is that the 16340-SP000 which refers to the 90916-03046 will fit the ST165. What do you guys think?
i also thought this but it seems that the aftermarket sees things differently. i tried using a 3sge thermostat in my 165. i didn't get very far before i had to cut it off. perhaps it's worth a try? i don't know with the trd stuff.
