first off if thats what u think about BMW then apparently every review that has ever been written on them is wrong... so ive got a feeling someone else is wrong in this case... also apparently you didnt read what i actually said about ford, you are just assuming im saying ford is the greatest thing ever... which i didnt... ps the toyota sequoia was the second most recalled car of 2007 with over 530000 units recalled, where was the focus? not on the list aka quality improvement as i said before if you actually read it. also i totally understand what the SC430 is suppose to be, however look at what Mercedes or bmw offers for the same price range with the same intent... aka the 6 series and CLK550. And yes i do know what im talking about... anyways not important read below

i think this is a very good article and well worth the read for anyone whose interested in toyota. as this article says they havnt forgotten about quality, but sometimes there are factors out of the companies hands that hurt you quality, especially when you are as big as toyota.

And that is partially some of the reason Toyota has gone in another direction- Most people cant afford to buy "Brand New" cars.

The best thing Toyota has going for them is the "Hybrid" line- That system will be the future for the next 10-15 years- until they can come up with a very reliable fully Standalone Electric setup, which the havent, and probably wont do to the amount of funds it would take to have it on a manufacturing line.

I to have my issues with Toyota- from being let down on the Caldina to a Over produced PickUp truck. But the fact will always remain the same Toyota is eating the big 3 alive- to the point American manufactures are having to have foreign investors help them out of a rut. Scion will be the future of Toyota- Sad but true.

i agree with all that, i do love Toyota (along with some other companies) but they have their fair share of faults which apparently a lot of people don't want to admit... its like i said something bad about a family member or something lol. and i wish we got scion up here in Canada... when i lived in the states i didnt see many cauz of the area i was in (Plano, which is north dallas) but i always liked them. I guess now its not a huge deal though since toyota is coming out with the new corolla which in XRS trim will have the 2.4L I4 thats basically the scion TC engine. but the TC looks better then the corolla lol.
