It's carbs in there. Had a few myself, they are great for cruising and have a long 2nd gear but not much of a racer :)

True, as I said before I'm more a cruising kinda guy so its not really a problem for me. I will get some pictures of the interior and engine bay in here soon.

This car also doesn't have power steering, something I really enjoy. Its got a nicer feel while driving compared to a car with power steering.

Wow ! That is a super clean interior ! I love it !

A very basic Celica, no power steering or power windows. Are you enjoying it ?

Thanks! This Celica is as basic as it gets. I don't mind not having the power steering, I think it even drives better without it. Power steering adds a certain 'dullness' to the steering, it gives more feedback without. Power windows would be nice, but the Celica compensates with a sunroof :D

The only thing I would like to have are some nice old skool wheels. Some Enkei or Work wheels perhaps. 14" / 15" Watanabes would also look good in black I think.

Is the sunroof manual or electric ?

It's an aftermarket one, so a manual sunroof :)

Basic is the way to go. Love how you've kept the original stereo. It is original is it not?

Yes, it's the original radio. It's a Clarion Model M622. Would love to get my hands on a period correct Alpine Cassette player though, but they are hard to find.

Nice T16 Sebastiaan. Reminds me of my own car which was a 1.6 ST at th beginning.

And you're right about the power steering!

    I need some advice:

I'm looking into a new set off wheels. Especially the Enkei Compe (15", 7j, et38 and 4x100). Tyres will be 205/50 R15 to keep the diameter as close to the original sizes.

My question is will this fit without any compromises?

I run the same size with out any problems + she has been lowered by 40mm.
