Today I went to the last 2 stages of the Targa West in Perth, West Australia.

They had been running stages all over the perth hills and beyond, and finished up at the riverside on a beautful day. This morning I saw them through an industrial area north of the city, my first time seeing a tarmac rally in person!

There were 1st 2nd 3rd 4th gens on display and driving, a celica supra and some FT-86's. An awesome Sprinter was racing too.

Best of all were 2 replica Ford GT-40's, both raced and were amazing to watch :D

Plenty of Evos, WRXs, 911's, A great R32 GTR and a lot of R35 GTRs, All kinds of muscle cars, A wicked Audi Quattro, Many Fiats, a triumph, mgs and Alfas to name a few...

There were more sweet cars than i've seen in one place before, got a lot of pics of the exhibition and vids of them tearing up the riverside drive.

Vids here - All great cars, some good locations some not so good :)

Mafix It was the greatest thing I have ever seen in my city and I regret not knowing about it my entire life :D Next time i'll be following them through the hills.

Stig That GT4 was awesome, I hung around the spot for a half hour but no sign of the owner... I will make it my business to run into it again.

These guys thrash the best roads I know and what I don't know, I need to find.

We're lucky here, within 30 minutes I can be in the middle of nowhere, great roads and scenery, danger of kangaroos, some fast and slow sections, and what keeps me going is that my celi has taken a lot of abuse out this way and keeps going back for more.

I want to race in this kinda event one day. Only move up from here!
