  1. So I've heard multiple suggestions for suspension brand names for my car. Koni, Eibach, etc. What do you guys recommend? I want it lowered about an inch maybe a tiny bit more, but also to handle awesome. 8)

On another note, I'm due for a new set of tires. I've been told Toyo Proxes 4 are good tires. My friend had a set on his 86 ST(the blue one next to mine in my sig) and those gripped like none other.

Any suggestions/recommendations on either of those things would be helpful!

    Thanks!

well for springs, Sense you say you are only wanting like an inch maybe a lil more I would either go with..

    Eibach. 1in drop alround
    or
    suspension tech 1.5in drop alround
    or
B&G springs also 1.5in drop alround

If you want any bigger of a drop
    Intrax. 1.75in drop
    or
    coilover/ sleeveovers. 1-3in drop

Now for tire, I the toyo proxes are good. But i would proble recommend Kumho esta.. I am runnin them on my 86 gts and that are awesome
If you are willing to spend a lil more money, I would also recommend to yokomama (i dont no how to spell it :D ) prada spec 2... those are awesome tires also, i am getting them for my car when it is time for new ones

i have the eibachs and love them. but i know that other people on the site have some of the other springs and really like them too so it mostly comes down to how low you want the car.

for what you want use eibach springs, koni or agx suspension, and kumho tires.
    why:
eibachs for the 1" drop and have a good rear spring rate (all the others lack this)
koni or agx because they are adjustable, where do you go wrong with that
and kumho tires because they are inexpensive for what you get, they have huge racing history, they are much softer than toyos, you can actually buy a kumho racing tire, try that with toyo.

I rate the AGX stuff and also the Parada 2 tyres as I run these, over here they are good value, for my tyre size 205 40 17" I can get them for £50 each, where as other stuff such as Toyo can be upto £80 per tyre.

The AGX shocks as said above are adj, which makes a great difference for me, On the road at the softest setting I can deal with bumps/potholes etc without issue, but take it to the track and the 2 hardest settings work really well.

I also cannot stress enough, if you are going to replace suspension parts, take the time to replace your bushes. I used a mixture of OEM for the front anti roll bar, and poly for the rest. It makes a huge difference to steering feel and gives you a much more positive drive.
