well, i finally got around to it and im having the WORST luck ever hey... i swear everything bad that could happen keeps on happening hahaha

iv pulled the center console out and sprayed it, done the front speak covers, the ash tray, just little things that i could pull out quickly and spray before the clouds came back over.

i also re did all the seals around the windows as they were starting to leak water in when it rained. and rust bubbles were starting to appear... i hate rust!

anyways, iv started the interior and all be sure to post the pics as soon as i upload them :D

i actually still have the same seals on there, but iv siliconed around all the edges and its turned out really neat so far!

just used tape to make the edges clean and smoothed it out heaps.

i wish i could find more window seals.. toyota would have them right?

Toyota would have them but I'm sure you could find some universal seals that would work just fine.

haha, i forgot to mention that part :p

it was really sunny at the start of the day, then i bought the spray and silicon, and started.. about 10 mins into it the wind picked up and this massive cloud came over and the wind started to get crazy after id already sprayed a fair bit... i had parts rested up against some blocks and they blew over and paint was ripped off, then there was shit all over the parts stuck in the paint hahaha... then i packed it all up and it came sunny again... then every things gone pretty sweet after that :D

i suppose it wasnt the WORST luck, just a little on the unlucky side hehehe

how many coats should i be doing per item? i was thinking the more the better but can i do too many?? i dont want it peeling and cracking when someone rubs up against it or accidentally bumps it...

UPDATE: the silicone has dried really nicely... ill get some pics on the weekend and post them up. i like how its turned out, now all i need is some rain to test my skills :p hope it doesnt leak!

I bought some 5.99 degreaser from the local auto store....went to the car wash bay...bagged off my battery, distributor, alternator, then sprayed the shit out of everything covered with grease with the degreaser..... took a rag to it and rubbed! then just used the rinse on the car wash but didn't squeeze the trigger it was high pressure enough...and it took all but 10 minutes!

and al did you finish your interior yet??
