This is the first run, so there may be some bugs to work.
The fit is the most important thing. I'll report back once they're done!

What was the overall outcome on this. The thread on all-trac.net is extremely huge and trying to read through all of it gave me a headache. Seems like some guys were having overheating issues with the new rad. And since this is older do we know if these are still available if they worked?

General thoughts that I'm aware of are these are just fine. I have one in my swap. I've run two group buys on them on Celicatech and the prices were under $200 each time.

I think we're ready for another group buy for under $200

that should be same since the seller is autopwr, which i believe was the site of asi. perhaps rick89 can weigh in on this as he was the one who dealt with asi.

as for overheating, no one seemed to care about what mafix said on alltrac.net about the rad cooling the coolant too much and needing the thermostat changed to a restrictor plate. i read through the 34 pages of it and it seems to me that this rad was cooler when running, but a tad hotter when idle. which makes sense as the coolant needs to move around a lot more in the rad as it's 2core, but when the car moves, the 2core does a better job of cooling the water. i would say to fully use the potential of this rad, you'd need a pusher fan on the passenger side on top of the stock puller fan

I have this on my swap. I'm using dual 12" fans pushing air across the radiator. I've only had them turn on once. Temps usually hang around 200* give or take (I have a 190* thermostat in there now).

what were your temps with the oem rad? apparently betsy on alltrac.net was saying that his oem rad maxed out at 185F...? another was saying that while water temps went up, oil temps went down.

I don't now. Jasmine's always had the AutoPWR radiator.

I ordered one, it will be here tomorrow. But it will be awhile before I can give you my results.

$150 shipped which I thought was a pretty good deal.

    Got mine in today.

For $150 its a good deal. Their quality control isnt all that hot still. The passenger side top support isnt welded in straight. I dont know if the studs for the fans are off since I use aftermarket fans. Its not going to win any awards for looks overall but again for the price as long as its sealed good and cools its better than stock.

they fit well, just did them a while back, you just need to get a hose and two clamps for the turbo fitting to be shut off as there's a bung for the st165 turbo line

I have (correction, had) one on Jasmine. I had to plug up the turbo line (the st215 turbo has a dedicated water pipe) and it has worked fine.
