From what I'm reading, the ST162 had a flywheel that was specific to the ST162, nothing else crosses. other than getting a 400 dollar lightened one from JUN, anyone out there have any suggestions. The car is a US '89 Celica GTS with a JDM motor, and from what I can tell, the flywheel thats on there is about 10mm to big, starter wont bolt up. Any help would be appreciated. Really can't afford, nor do I want the 400 dollar lightened flywheel. Stig?

Where are you located? I have a few extra 162 flywheels lying around, if the cost of shipping isn't too high! The only thing you would need to do is have one of mine re-surfaced, since they came off high mileage cars. I'm switch to the larger Camry/Celica flywheel and moving the starter from under the exhaust header, might just be able to trade flywheels? Count the teeth on your flywheel, if it's around 120 teeth, then it's exactly what I'm looking for....
