So how does our spedo calbe work. Is it something i can just superglue+duct tape back together? input would be greatly apriciated.
tell me about im fixing mine too...no its like a 3 piece cable that needs to be replaced, not glued or micky mouse...One part if from the dash to fire wall...2nd is from fire wall to halfway to transmission..and 3rd is from halfway point to transmission. and it works from a gear spinning a cable in the transmission..that spins the cable that goes into the cluster
^^^^ except on my gts I'm pretty there are only two parts The upper cable runs from the gauge down through the firewall; and the lower cable runs from the tranny about 6-10 inches up and connects to the upper one
