does anyone knows how much hp the 1st gen 3sgte internals can handle? also how much it could produce? thank you

I cannot answer your qusetion fully, But I would say this.

The 1st Gen 3sgte has the strongest block of the generations, and I have seen 3rd gen blocks crack at 350bhp and also cope with 700bhp plus

If you upgrade pistons, crank and rods I see no reason why people can not get 500bhp + but you will need all the supporting mods, ie dedicated ECU etc. A forged piston can be screwed due to Det just as much as a standard one.

If you have a std engine in good condition, I think 350bhp is prob the limit before you really need to start pulling the internals apart.

The 165 rally car used the 1st gen block, the 185 and 205 used special TTE blocks not the prod stuff.

There are MR2s running over 1000bhp with 3sgte lumps so anthing is possible.

To get to 300bhp I think can be done without too much mad expense, to get to 400bhp upwards really starts to get expensive.

    the general rule of thumb:
you are completely out of fuel/boost/pushing the limits of stock internals at 350-400 crankhp.
the stock ct26 only boosts to about 1 bar before it chokes
stock 440's at stock pressure are maxed out at about 1 bar
at that point you'll be at hard spot where most people choke out. you'll need to do 4 thigns all at once or risk breaking one of the not done parts.

you'll need to build the bottom end
you'll need to upgrade the fuel system
you'll need to eliminate the factory ECU
    you'll need a better turbo

these are estimates on Good running motors that are taken care of, not junk yard dogs, fyi.
