Alright guys I install my a/f gauge today and found out I am running very rich. The thing is there are no black smoke when I take off or anything. So what do you think? Also I only spice the a/f wire into the red wire before it connect into the oxygen sensor. So I could spice the wrong wire.
Yes it was cheap. it run very rich on idel when driving it, it runs rich but the green bar is closer to the yellow bars. What is wot btw. I have a video link not sure if it works.
Our cars can run very rich from stock, its the a combination of the AFM setting and the stock ECU being uber safe. I have seen people modify on a dyno the spring setting of the AFM to lean the car off, but I would only do this on a Rollling road for fear of runing to lean. What state are your plugs in? any air leaks can also contribute to rich running. WOT = Wide open Throttle.
Thanks guys, I thought it was just me installing the gauge wrong. I'd picture it run rich stock but I do have a air leak and cant find the source. I am about to go on a long ass trip 900 miles and just want everything to run good so I could make it home
