Where you at? Yea Im starting to think so aswell, you can see when the brakelights light up fairly well still, and I still have the third brakelight on the hatch too. As far as the hood the gouges in the hood were starting to rust, so I HAD to do something...until I can afford to do an engine and 5spd swap Itll just be my hoopty...

Take that tint off. You're less than 5 hours from me. I would drive over there and smash the lenses.

No there has always been the crack...haven't figured what I want to do yet....there's such a long list of things that need doing and it just keeps growing.

Here you can still see when the brake lights come on, just as good as anyother time, not only that there is still the third brakelight on the hatch, which happens to be at eye level more so than the tailights. Secondly if you really wanna threaten to come down here and fuck with my shit, Ill give you my address, just a word of advice bring a bat just to make it fair for you.

Play nice kids. The desire to do something a bit different and stand out a bit is to be human. I don't hate the bonnet, that look is actually quite fashionable in these parts at the moment. The taillights look cool, but as has been said, the first cop who sees them will be asking you to get rid of the tint.

+1 on hood and -1 on tail lights. it's not that it's bad, you just went too dark. it's okay to tint it a little bit, but yours is too much.

for the hood and the rest of the paint, turtle wax rubbing compound and polishing compound does wonders. i bet a few hours with those two and a microfibre will make your whole car + hood shine again

It's one thing, that the brake lights can be seen, and your third brake light as well, but what about the normal lights? They are much less bright then the brake lights. As well as indicators.

They can be seen at night as well. I just check now. That it is dark

Good job on the bonnet and tail light mine are just as dark, and very happy just does look nicer, light's will show properly
both day and night it's a clear tint just in black and with time they will start to show brighter due to tint fade.
But if you want them to become lighter take 2000 w/paper and slowly sand the tint down till it suit's you after that just polish it up
it's all ways better give's GLOSS FINISH

Guys...the biggest issue with the tinted lights is NOT how much light goes through...it is the sun that will blind the lights as it is now 1 big mirror when the sun hits it. Therefor I would say take it off as nobody will be able to see anything during the day. I had it on another car and let a friend drive it with me behind so I know what it does... :(

For the hood....anything is better then rust so for a temp solution thumbs up ! You could have tried to plasti dip it though... that gives a much smoother finish even if you're unexpierenced with paintjobs.

What's plastic dip...I have a friend coming over tomorrow. We gonna resand it and go over it with the paintgun instead of rattlecans
