hey guys. im semi looking for snow tires for the car my sister drives. just wondering if anyone one here has snow tires on any of their cars. if so, what kinda and do you like them?? i know Quebec has passed a new law for next winter that basically says you havta have snow tires. im not asking if you think snow tires work, im asking if u like the brand and tire you have. ive looked at a few places and seen ratings on different tires but its always nice to hear first hand about a tire and how the person has liked it thanks a lot guys.
get some kumho kw19's 20/65/14 they are more pricey but very good also for a cheap nice snow tire i like them they are called winterforce you can get those in a 205/65/14 umm they are both studabel and i really like them. i work for OK tire in BC. kw19's are going to be about 90 a tire and the winterforce will be about 70 a tire
oh ya, prob should have said its for an 03 corolla so they are massive 15 inchers lol. but thnx for those two so far, i'll look into them.
I second the recommendation for winterforce. I have a full set on my Celica. And on 3 other cars that my family drives. I like them over the BS blizzaks I have on my Camry. Cheaper and great grip for stopping and acceleration. The grip pattern on them is also pretty mean looking/ aggressive. I'd recommend a full set of four if you can afford it, it makes a huge difference in stopping grip, and in keeping the back end from sliding during corners.
lol yah i really like them there cheap and the aggressive tread pattern is just right for oujr canadian winters stud them and your unstoppable the kw19's are agressive and they are much better i just like the winterforce tread better thats what it comes down to
