Hey guys, On RHD cars, what is the pedal set up like? Is it same as LHD: Clutch- Brake - Gas Or is it flipped for RHD: Gas - Brake Clutch Never been in a RHD car, just curious, Thanks!
Most annoying bit with rhd cars is that the wiper stick and turn signal stick is switched, so whenever you are going to turn you hit full speed on wipers instead of turn signal
The It's scary riding shotgun in my friends bluebird... Here in SoCal traffic (home of hit & runs) you kinda want to feel "in control " hahaha
I've only ever driven a LHD car once, the wiper/indicator thing didn't bother me, changing gears with the opposite hand didn't bother me, I just had trouble keeping the car in the centre of the lane because my reference points were all out of whack :lol
Surely the steering wheel on the right side of the car is the correct side? You're all doing it wrong :naughty I cant imagine what it would be like if the gas pedal was on the left though LOL
Heres one for the Brits to be proud of - I remember seeing on Top Gear once that the humble Austin 7 was the first mass-produced car to use the clutch-brake-accelerator layout that all cars use nowadays
Yes,it wasnt like we all know now,if the world suddenly changed its mind back id be killing gearboxes and accelerating up peoples arses in traffic on a regular basis :lachtot
