Can anybody here help me? My cruise control isn't working and I want to remove it but I don't know how to go about doing it because of how its hooked up. Throttle cable from pedal is hooked up to the cruise control then runs to the throttle body. Any suggestions on how to remove this completely? Any help is greatly appreciated thanks.
Hello Winter, I'm new to this website, however there appears to be a article already written up for it: Forum Archived How-To's Engine and Drivetrain http://www.st162.net/forum/showthread.php?2219-Cruise-Control-Removal-Writeup Is your car manual or automatic? also you can just move the throttle cable to the throttle intake directly, or spend $15 for new shorter cable without cruise control. Are you just moving the cable, and ripping out the CC box, or also removing the buttons?
