Ill get more pics when I do the other 3.

so, i took my new wheels in to have the rash cleared. only 3 needed it. there going to repair the spots and just leave them prepped for paint (just the spots). $30 each wheel. Im not sure but im guessing they just grind the high spots then fill w/ bondo.
so ive taken the 1 "good" wheel..
    1.washed with dawn and water
2.scuffed, scuffed, and scuffed some more. used a red 3m pad. spent about 1.5hrs on scuffing 1 wheel.
3.washed again w/ dawn and water.
    4. used rustoleum filler primer. this does an amazing job of filling minor scratches. 2 coats.
    5. apply paint in light coats. 2-3 min apart. basically follow the instructions on the can. im on about 5 light coats here and still need to do the inside a few more times.

-i have a broken t.b. cover i used to test the 3 colors i was considering. the dark would look amazing but im trying to lighten things up a bit, the copper was a bit to orange. the ole lady talked me outa that one. i think if the wheels were a different shape that might go over better. i new the gold would look good.

before. (ill get a better one)

so i should change it to "how to fuzz your wheels". part 2 of my bad day...
-ive got 2 nicley finished wheels, and two with some fuzz on em. so how do i get the fuzz off w/o having to take the wheel back down to metal?

-red shop rag fuzz. i had one in my hand that was apparently shedding while i was painting.....doh!

-actually i let them fully dry for a couple days, about 90% of it just rubbed of with my hand. so 2 wheels are perfect, and the other two have very very minor imperfections on them. like you wont notice unless you squat down and actually look at the wheels. so i think im gonna run with them.

-on a side note i need to get the proper lug nuts for the wheels. cheapest i can find is like $3.50ea. so if anyine knows a cheaper place....yota type with shank and washer.
