it will bolt RIGHT in man. 200 is a steal

st185 is just swap and run
st205 swap uses a speed sensor instead of a spedo cable so you have to do something to make ur spedo work.

good deal, yeah its from a 5th gen RC, and i hear they are a better tranny. So im gonna pick it up in a lil bit. Looks like the all trac is getting the motor yanked again.

5th gen rc tranny has better syncros and iirc 4th and 5th gear are shorter which equals better performance or no highway trips, lol

ehem, let me explain since you dont know much history of THE CELICA!!!

In the late 80's toyota wanted to compete in the WRC, they chose the celica to do this since it would be the best platform to do so. In order to compete Toyota had to create a street version of the car and import "X" amount into other countries including their own.

The 88 alltrac was the first and only 4g celica to made into the alltrac platform. Next came the 5g celica alltrac (90-93) which was a lil bit diferant of design but the same concept. After the 5g all trac came the 6g(94-98). Now im not sure but somewhere between 94-98? they made RC version of the 5th gen alltrac, which had basicly the same internals as the 6th gen alltrac.

Now long story short, RC = better 5g alltrac

Another long story short toyota got banned from participating in the WRC. I'll give who ever can say why toyota got banned a prize.

*note* im not positive ALL the info is exact cuz its 1 am here.

Toyota was banned for some form of cheating, but I don't know about what it was they were cheating on. I already knew all that history, just wanted to know what RC stood for (although I kind of could figure it out).

    cheers

lol, you they where cheating. They only where discovered after they where winning by minutes. IIRC the WRC actually took apart the celica to see if they where cheating, which they found that they where. Cmon, who wants a prize?

lol, I have no clue what Toyota did..........nope, I'm drawing a complete blank, but I don't know what the rules are in WRC pertaining to vehicle specs.

theres a whole shit load of rules, but iirc toyota did something with the ball bearing in the turbo. I know for sure it was with the turbo.

I figured it must have been with the turbo, but past that I have no clue what can be done to make it better/illegal

    snap can i ahve a prize...*cracks knuckles*
toyota was banned because of a cheated intake tube
in WRC you are only allowed to use a certain size intake and toyota did that as did everyone else
what they didn't find for the longest time: toyota had a special valved peice of the intake that was hidden. when the turbo was at full spool this would open allowing 10-15mm more intake, hence a crap ton of power.

That is a pretty damn good bit of innovation. It's just too bad it wasn't allowed. :p
