i need a few questions answered. Where are the exu pinouts

what size nut is the axle nut, and i cant seem to get the propellar shaft out. I got the 4 bolts off but it seems to be rust welded. Any tricks for that one.

Do you think a propane tourch would hurt my driveshaft, mallet didn't work to well.

behind the stereo/ashtray on the floor.
do you have the carrier bearings for the drive shaft unbolted? those all have to be undone to remove the shaft. and no torch!

are you looking for the ecu or the diagnostic port? The ecu is under the stereo....on the floor. And the ecu diagnostics port is right behind the drivers side strut tower.....or is it in front? eityher way its really close.....looks like the size of a relay and its black...says diagnostic on top of it

i was told buy a guy on alltrac.net if i just remove the 4 bolts like in the picutre, that side of the shaft should drop out and then i can pull it out of the trans

    sry double post

the st/gt axles come apart with 4 bolts. Then you don't have to pull the rest of the axle out of the tranny. The gts/alltrac axles are one piece and pull completely out with a little prying. It's a good idea to change the seal where the axle goes into the tranny as well......its only a few bux and easy when the axle is out
