im contemplating putting a post facelift grill in mine but am unsure wich i really prefer what are your preferences?
haha yer i think your right. i do love the pre but i think it dates the car a lil to much and i think once i put either an ssv or an alltrac front on it itl look to pussy atm i think il swap to post
Sorry, but what are the differences between the two? I'm unfamiliar with the grille changes. On a similiar note, are JDM corners standard on GT-Ss and GT-4s, but not other models (except in Japan, presumably)? Thanks.
86-87.5 are pre 87.5-89 are post turn signals, tail lights (some models), grill, ecu on the GE motor, introduction of abs and the production alltrac
Alwayzsidewayz you read my mind buddy. I think the Pre looks so much better, i think the post looks lazy, i got a post grill and in my garage, i picked one up for a bit of a mock up but it's still just sitting there, two reasons. 1.When i put it on i didn't like it as much as i thought i might, looks too lazy, and 2. the GT4 front bar i have seems to match the front better with pre facelift as apposed to post. So obviously I say Pre. On that note to quell your desire for an aftermarket front, for the moment try body matchin the lip it'll look much much better trust me. it gives a sort of illusion that you have an aftermarket front bar, if you don't like it i'll even get ya a replacement black bit. unless you like it like that of course. check out mephtar's but. looks heaps good all body matching.
I bounce between liking the two. On the one hand, the pre has more character to it, but the post is much sleeker and modern looking. I'm just gonna have to compromise by owning a pre and a post one day
