looks good, fix that rear rust before it gets horrid. and looks like you need a new lf fender and a door repair. i'll guess it was in a small accident that pushed either the door or fender.

not even a nice layer of bondo and a light coat of paint? or would that just mask the issue until it spreads like wild fire lol.

if your going to bondo it make sure you do the sheet work underneath...it WILL save you a fortune...

I agree, the bodywork and a decent spray is a good place to start. Other cosmetic items can be thrown in there along the way, just depends on your budget.

bogging over rust is a big big no no. The bog will seal what ever moisture is still in there a spread the brown quicker. IMO if you cant afford/have the ability to tackle it the way it needs. at least sand the shit back (if the rust has completely taken over in spots dont sand aggressively or it will simpy fall ou and leave a whole). Give a real good coat of rust converter (actually quite effective) and prime it up as much as possible.
As for the guard they are 1 of the easiest things to pull off a car 10mm bolts all round and ya home free. You never no you could find a good 1 at the wreckers (also a good place to practice body work hehe)

good luck with her, it looks like a good base. keep us posted

man, sweet coupe! me personally dont like the antenna sticking out like that. i went and bought a hidden antenna off ebay and it works great and makes the car more sleek in my opinion. :D check out my thread and see how it looks like. i also have a coupe too! :D and what color is your ride? cant really tell. the car looks great though dude. hopefully my coupe will look like that one day.
oh! and do the head light conversion thing. it works great and you wont have to get the entire head light as the light anymore. the visibility also amazing. the conversion makes it so that you just have to get regular bulbs for it. so then you can get blue lights, hyper white, anything pretty much. just as long you get the right bubls for it. the conversion also comes with bulbs too. so no worries about going out and getting another set. then from there you can do the HID conversion too if you'd like.
side note: i hope that man cleaned his dog shit. :D

@kevinkyang. WAIT WAIT what headlight conversion thing. i saw your HIDs was it a tough process ? i was thinking about getting brighter headlights. can you send me a link to your install ? @89celicagt. it was probably random. my school isnt in the best part of philly. its all good though. im more of a under the hood guy anyway. flashy paint jobs dont get you off the line faster.

hey pico, its just a bolt on. just like installing the head light. take out the housing, then take out your light. the converted lights will just plug right up. no worries. if you got any problems then just hit me back. thats pretty much it though dude. really simple. i think its like 2 screws on each side of the housing. then the chrome lip that holds the light has four. take all of those out then unplug the headlights. after that just plug the new headlights up and you're set. it gets hella brighter!

I can't believe you guys only got sealed beams!

The JDM's aren't much better either, I use Zenon 80W supawhite H4 bulbs
and saving for a set of Crystal lenses which are even better.

im thinking about doing this..can anybody tell me whats the best way to go?? :D

    Easy

Lights are a generic size used on Hi-Ace, Hi-Lux & many other commercials
All spares shops carry them and the bulbs, some have Crystals but easier to find on ebay

Nice looking gts man! sorry to hear about the keying thats not cool, and as for fogs my recommendation is to get some ones you like, mine are actually from walmart and only cost me 15$ they are generic but i have them wired into the headlight stock so they can be turned on and off with the parking lights,
