ok everybody, im getting a car....not a celica.... my plan was import an MR2 next year when i graduated as a gift to myself. wanted a black one obviously with t tops and leather/half leather and a turbo....

but they are probably changing rules to make cars be 25 years old so i have to act soon. and i should be gettin some money soon from icbc. so i have a few options.

oh and my celica will be used for winter....then maybe a gte swap then autox car it will not be forgotted and niether will this site...ill have 2 gtes

an importer close to me has 2 in stock. both registered and inspected and ready to go.

1991 Toyota MR2 Turbo (white) $7000
Specs:
-73,000kms, 17 inch wheels (white), adjustable suspension, rear spoiler, exhaust system, 5 speed. t-top

has 1 small area of rust but u will see in pic, apparently perfect mechanical , and a rollcage that i will have removed before purchase., different seats

2. 1991 TOYOTA MR2 TURBO (red) $7000 canadian
Specs:
-106,000 kms
-Fully loaded
-5 speed Standard,
-Very clean.
-2 litre turbo engine, adjustable suspension.
-Aftermarket wheels (16" i think)

brand new paint, and he will put the 17s from the white one on it (always liked white on red but black is better). no t top though ;x nicer interior than the white one but needs a steeringwheel

3. get a black one like i want but pay probably 1-3 grand more and have to get it inspected and have to wait for the next container my buddy would bring in....

yaa this is gonna be a hard decision, it seems to be split through my friends too hehe oh if u vote for white or red with either wheels they will add up bla bla.

 

seller will remove cage before purchase if i want... white isnt a targa its a t top (like a 300zx or a firebird hahaha) hmmm i kinda like the white wheels on the red one hehe. oh and apparently the red one has some gauges where the center vents are but the gauges are not there anymore

 

even with the minor rust and non matching seats?

ya ive wanted one forever...and on another note theres an 86 aw11 for 1800 on craigslist in town. black 5 speed.....might be buyin 2 mr2s haha. as for teh t tops i thought it would be BA but i would have AC anyway and drag sucks haha

 

the non matching seats kills me but im sure he would swithc them hehe

as for the roll cage its pointless unless im wearing a helmet all day...that would be badass with the t tops down driving to school though hahaha. thanks so far guys im getting excited
