well, i know now, that we can handle zero with some mods. but what im wondering is how far can we go before it starts to take a tole on the hub bearings??

I used my 35mm spacers with ET 40 rims for years on the rear, and using 25mm spacers with ET38 rims now for years as well, and everything is okay for now.
Mind you I think the rear is much more tolerable with this, front bearings are more sensitive because of steering and that they are driven.

Is that what you are running with the 7th-gen rims on the car now?

This is interesting, there are some wheels I really like that are only available in +20, I wasn't sure they'd fit...

my new wheels (98 celica stockers) are 15x7 +45. with a 225/45-15 tire. I had to use 10mm wheels spacers in the rear to clear the strut. so far no rubbing but havent really gotten on it hard yet. also need to align it and see where that gets me. may or may not have to roll the fenders (f and r) to clear under heavy cornering.

-im thinking a 225 is about as wide a tire as youll get into the well w/o flares and maybe some rolling.

-also may need camber plates to get the desired camber, but there is some room to play on the front.

well, it seems as though gt-s' have camber adjustments in the front already. the set i picked up at the junk had like a minor adjustment for the front. but nothing to be seen for the back.

yep, problem is if you use the stock adjustment it will basically tilt the wheel into the strut since the pivot point is the hub/strut bolt. camber plates will tilt the whole strut assembly so the strut/wheel clearance will stay the same while giving more fender clearance.
