Bought one just for the hell-of-it $27 shipped.

    Pros?
Looks nice, feels nice, well constructed, (obviously compatible to most filters)
    Doubles as a splash shield...
    Cons?
It could be a little longer, maybe wrap around the entire filter...

IMO, full functionality is yet TBD. A custom box would be a better route for those who live in hotter/humid climates - for me and/or others it might be good enough. Feel free to post comments

Main reason why I want to relocate my Battery to the rear of the CElI
I could serioulsy use that battery space for a Enclosed Intake box. plus the looks of not havibng a bettery under the hood would be amazing.

Looks cool, but it seems to get hot. Not sure if that's a + or a - since it's so close to the filter :? The guy whose supposed to build my box is waaay too busy so this was my immediate alternative since the header is going on verrry soooon :D :|

I'm not sure what thickness this is, but seems like a pretty heavy duty stainless.
It's quite heavy over all and does not rattle. Threaded nuts are welded in for the bolts/adjustable bracket mounts. I didn't care for the cheap ones at all - almost like flimsy large tin can welded up with abs brackets :(

I bet anyone who can weld can make a nice custom one, just source a stainless sheet and other items and weld away ;) It was easier for me just to go buy one though

I'm still unsure if it really does what it's supposed to - I'd have to sit in traffic for a bit on a hot day to really tell. With the naked filter, the temp gauge does rise a little for me in traffic which is what I'm trying to eliminate.
