Hi I have a 1 wire o2 sensor. When i got the car the sensor had no wire coming off it and there was a brown wire coming off the loom near the alternator, hanging around. Soldered/wired it up but never really worked, got a code at 4000rpm in 5th gear every time. Wired the new sensor to the brown wire, notice no difference but not throwing a code, yet. haven't been to that speed to try. I have a feeling the brown is a ground wire and the o2 wire is cut further back in the loom. any ideas? thanks.
