st/gt fenders and gts/alltrac fenders are different.
st/gt do not have the factory "buldge" or "flare" around the front wheel

same as the 5th gen, but the 5th gen is more noticable.

Unfortunately, he's right. I need a fender and there aren't any 4th gen gts or alltracs in the junkyards around here.

I've got a spare passenger gt-s fender with part of the bottom missing from a bit of rust, but it's repairable...if you want it :D

Not to be a thread necromancer, but I had a question about fenders also. I am desperately in need of a couple fenders for my convertible, but I am not having any luck sourcing them. Will any gt fender fit it? Or is there a place that might sell new/used celi GT vert fenders? Thanks, and sorry for brining this obviously dead thread back. I just couldn't find any serious information about it. I believe something like this should be sticky worthy, also! It's common knowledge, I would assume?

I ordered 2 brand new OEM clones from partstrain.com... Mafix told me he did the same, they fit perfectly and trust me... brand new is worth the money :p

It ended up costing me $230 shipped (77 each + shipping) to my door... keep in mind the dealership wants 450 for ONE fender...

I see they have them, but it states this, "Replacement Driver Side Fender
    1986-1989 Toyota Celica
FENDER -- Fender Driver Side. Except Turbo & Convertible Models, Ground Shipping Only" I happen to have a convertible... Any suggestions?

Turbo has a specific extra mounting spot for the bumper extension

Get mafix to confirm this but vert fenders should be exactly the same as GT coup fenders... I dont know how willing Monkey is but he has a GT coup fender lying around he may be willing to put it on to see if it fits...

But you should be able to get a GT fender to fit no problem

Yep, got a passenger side fender, from a convertible. Great shape. You need to have factory mudflaps on your car though, this fender will look really weird without them, because cars with mudflaps have a section of the fender cut out. All yours, just pay shipping. Not sure how much that would be from Virginia to Cali though. GT coupe fenders shouldn't be any different from vert fenders, I'd just get new ones.

Thanks for that info. I assumed that they were the same as the coupe. They look as cloe to identical, from all the others. I do actually have the mud flaps, don't really need mud flaps in cali though... lol :) Thanks for that offer, monkey! I appreciate all the help I have gotten, so far! :D

that's the only reason they don't list vert is because of the mounting holes for the mudflap. you need st/gt fenders.

Ok. I will have to check for fenders in the junk yard then. Unless I can find some decent fenders, cheap on the net. I appreciate the replies! :)
