So my turbo and all spools up fine, and she pulls but around 3.5k rpms i feel like i get "pushed back" and shes not really pulling anymore. Im thinking tvis is f***ing up some how. I'll post a vid of my car when i get ahold of a camera.
nah, but i think its messed up. I'll check her codes again cuz she turns on randomly but then she isn't on when i shut the car off and turn her back on. how do i check tvis?
timings perfect. I dont hear any knocks engine light will just turn on, then if i turn the car off and back on, no light last time in check for codes i got 54 and 42
you won't hear the knocking believe me. i would assume tvis is not working. do a 3rd gear pull on the highway and at about 4200 rpm the exhaust note should change.
from high to low pitch? mind you, i have an open DP so its very loud. i just tried to check her for a code, i got nothing after tying for 10 min.
y? i did that on purpose. My midpipe is sitting in my garage.... doesn't an open DP give u a hp gain? how will the sound change?
um, havn't noticed a differance... O SHIT!!!! i never f***ing thought about the opening being right freakin next to the oil pan... shit!! anyways, how will the sound change, will it be lower or higher pitched?
i'll do that pull tomarow to c wut happens. As for the open DP, i'll be bolting that back up next time i dont work which is wednesday.
right at 4500rpms is when i tend to feel like im not pulling anymore, so im assuming its TVIS. Now i was looking at toyorunners question post and i noticed something... i dont think its hook up properly to wut you where saying mafix. I need to know exactly where those two bubbles next to the big one hooks up to. If you just say TVIS, im not gonna know, i would like a picture.
