I recently changed my Gear Oil in my tranny (Manuel) The car wotn go into 5th AT ALL and I have to kick my lag out and roll the car backwards cause my Reverse wont engage- Is that a shifter bushing issue?? I got a cramp this morning ahhh
is that all you did is change the oil? sounds to me like your linkage isn't aligned right but you haven;t touched it so I got nothing
Did you check the linkage for something being in the way? I know this was a common problem on the 3S platform when you messed with anything near the shift linkage. I'd start there and see if something is holding it up.
I will check today- I was pushing the car back this morning and this dumbass lady pulled out behind me and stopped- My rear tires ended up in te rain drain- I got out the car "Move- wtf" But she probably didnt even know so when I got the car in the right direction I walked over and apologized..
sounds like you removed the wrong "plug" . go to a trans shop. you probabily removed the retainer bolt for 5th/reverse.
i gotta say it, the japanese build grate cars but they just dont realise how delicate they make things also
And where is that bolt at- Inever had to mess with one?? Oh and Mafix can we chat in YIM for a few ??
Don't know if this is helpful, but recently found a general trouble shooting manual for Celi's. For... "will not shift into one gear..." 1) "bent shift fork" 2) 'worn detent balls" -K
Well I checked for that Bolt thats not the one I removed to change the oil- I tightend the bolt making sure it was not loose- I then went thru and inspected all the external bushings and u clamps holding the linkage on everything is in place.... I check theSlave cylinder it has a little play but so doe smy GTS Slave cylinder-
