Nice one Ismael ! Your Celica is going to look very funky indeed.

Chin up, hope your problem is the battery, I've never ever seen a voltmeter jump like that before ?

:DD Thanks...!!! You say the problem with the not starting? Yeah, i called my mechanic and he told me is the battery! :'( My voltmeter even jumps when i put the turn signal, and sometimes if driven for a long time, when HID on, sometimes it goes down a little bit, and then when keeping driving pop's up again! :D

The voltmeter hopping with Turn signals, hitting brakes, etc is common for the 4th Gens. The not starting problem is another common problem with 4th gens. Doubt its the battery. Its a either the solenoid or the wiring going to it. There should be a thread on the site on how to diagnose the problem.

It looks rather lame than mad, imho.
Those "angry-fications" are very rarely looking good on other cars as well, but with the flip-ups it's not working at all. But again, it's just my opinion :)

unless your battery is checked on a dedicated battery checker machine, your mechanic is probably wrong. 99% of st162/165 has the voltmeter moving when you step on the brakes, turn signals, or engage reverse, and this is normal. not starting is fairly common as well, i've owned 3 162's and they've all had the same exact problem.

basically when you turn the key, there's a wire from the ignition key assembly thing that hooks up with the starter, the problem is this wire is too thin and is prone to carrying very little oomph to get the starter going. the "fix" is to get an automotive relay, basically instead of that little wire being used to get the starter going, it only needs to turn on this relay, then it activates a direct 12v from the battery so it's 100% power.

Yup.......... gotta love this site and that is such shit parking I started laughing :lol

That left hand wheel/camber/alignment is under unnecessary pressure with most weight on the grass side and the lip would be higher if PARKED PROPERLY :lol

Sorry.......... I couldn't help myself :lol...... :cheers

normally if you say automotive relay to an electronics store they will know...but to be more specific, a SPDT relay like this

it can be exactly like this or be 4 prong without the middle piece (you don't need the middle one)
