Hey Guys, if anyone on st162 is interested in reccomending an offset for my Celica, please post it =D 1989 Celica GT Coupe, just got me some new Toyo Proxes4 Tires and repolished american racing rims. Is there a prefered offset for the 1989 coupe?
I believe these are the rims here. Click on the link, goto page 3, and its the last rim on the list there "Estrella". http://www.americanracing.com/browse_ar.asp Part Number: 95-5716 Size: 15x7 Offset: 35 Backside: 5 3/8 Bolt Circle Note: 4-100 & 4-4 1/2 My question is: Would my car handle better with a custom alignment? Or should I keep it how it is? The sig isn't my Celica It's a work in progress right now. If I take some pics, think someone would make a sig for me?!?! =D The thumbnail pic under my name is the Celica in the garage though... that one is mine haha ^^
ah i see. here is a link that might help. http://www.st162.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=225 and to be nice here is the info on what you seek. Q. I want aftermarket wheels for my 4th Gen, what is my lug nut pattern and offset? A. ST/GT - 4x100mm GT-S/GTR/All-trac - 5x100mm The offset is 40mm. i am unaware of whether or not the 5mm is enough to matter. i know 2 +/- is not a huge deal. worst case scenario is that you would need wheel spacers. hopefully someone can answer this better than i. and i think you can have someone do a sig for ya no problem. just post up pics you might want done in the photoshop area and see!
Thanks a lot man, Ill check the local parts stores and see if i can order in some spacers.. i still need to get an alignment done on my car.. had the wheels on for two days without one
