So I ended up returning some stuff to O'Reillys but I forgot my receipt and paid cash. Needless to say I wandered around the store and stumbled upon this open box discounted set of truck fog lights. They were blue and I thought for the price why not? Lights off Lights on The included switch. I'm going to go back and look for a better looking switch that looks more OEM but this is it hooked up for testing. The lights themselves are pretty cheap and I'm not a fan of the blue lens but the mounting hardware was pretty solid. I may switch out the lights in the future but keep the brackets.
if you only use the inside part of the switch (without the oversize plastic part), and take apart a facelift cruise button, use some polyurethane, and it will fit in looking like oem!
im not a fan.......i think square ones would look better for the front.......unless you have the alltrac bumper where the round ones look like they belong.......just saying but its looks alright.
Looks like the set I bought last year... Still sitting in the shop in the box. I gotta so something other than work all the time. Hopefully, I can get some long needed little things done to both cars once the weather gets better. The fun stuff, not the "Gotta do it to keep it on the road" stuff....
Yeah. They really don't make a noticeable difference in driving and I think I know why. I was examining the bulbs and I noticed that there is a "top" so I think because of placement its mounted upside down. Hmmm...
Lol yea, get it right side up! Mitt be blinding people if the lighting is directional. you will look like 165 by night and 162 by day. Almost like a super hero lol And try finding an oem fog switch off of a 165. Good luck though... All in good time
