hello guys. on my st165 im looking for a little more power but not really interested in making it a power house yet. so far im thinking of greddy rs bov and weapon-r cold air intake. now i want your ideas or suggestion on a good 4 bolt pattern down pipe that is 3", a performence turbo raidator, front mount intercooler, and oil cooler. got any company i should look into and why i should choose them will be a great help. :D i'm going to keep my engine/turbo stock for now but later i would like to set it up to be able to handel more power 600+ range so im going to need the parts to handle that power later. i would keep it stock but i want it to run better performence wise so thats why i decide as of now to do the cooling system and breathing system. i got a custom staight 3" exhaust right now. so any help would be great. also sorry if i kill my english. bad writer. :p ps almost positive that this been posted but does anyone know if some one wrote a fyi on relocating your battery to the trunk will be great and the parts needed to do this mod. :D appeciate your help and time. :D

Phew!!! what a lot of qs in one post lol

Down pipe 3", I use the aussie pipe, but its expensive, great fit though, but XS power do a much cheaper one which is okay, Not sure on links, but ebay UK will have XS power ones.

Performance Rad, I use a radtec one, custom made, but very expensive, I have seen people fit the 205 Koyo (sp?) unit, or there is a group buy going on with the Altrac site. 1st word of warning on the cooling system, if you are going to up the boost, even on a standard turbo, make sure your entire cooling system is A1. Hoses, thermostat, even sensors, because, the extra heat generated will have an effect. I think on my car I have now replaced everything from the water pump to the sensor for the Ecu!!

Front mount, is entirly up to you, but a FMIC to cope with 600bhp+ will be huge and way to large until you have the aftermarket Turbo, and forged engine build to cope with. In my experience the standard WTA can cope with up to 250bhp safely. A great small intercooler to use, that fits nicely in our cars is the Ford Sierra Cosworth
    Its similar to this one

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... :IT&ih=020, but without the water cooling section, and its great for stock or small turbos up to anout 300bhp.

If you really want to get a 600bhp car, then think carefully about the cost, everything will need to be upgraded, and you are looking at a lot of cash.

A st205 that I know, has just broken 500bhp and its cost him 50k so far.... and he has done much of the labour.

Trust me when I say 300bhp+ will easy poke fun at many Evos and STis, I know coz I have done it lol

Oil filter relocation kit. You may as well add an external oil cooler at the same time if you want to keep your engine happy with all that power.

Yeah as said above, re locate the oil filter, you will need a cooler any way for big power, I run an uprated Mocal cooler, for PAS, Gearbox and soon engine oil, you have to, to keep the engine in the correct temp zones, especially if on track
