So, I have 1986 celica GT-i. I don´t know what to tell about that so I let the images tell. I´ll update this topic when I do something new with celica, feel free to ask and comment. 2 years ago, when I bought it: Front Side Back Then I started to update it a bit: Updated front New mirrors I didn´t like original spoiler, so it had to go before new paint: New paint New paint closer New paint from front I bought bigger rims and new suspension: GTS performance 18" rims I also customize interior, I´ve made everything myself: Backseats Frontseats "trd" gauges Door panels Stereos Other screen Trunk Few extra photos: Klik1 Klik2 Klik3 Klik4 Klik5 Widebody front About that wideboby picture, what do you think about idea? I´m not sure should I continue working on that..
welcome bro! that wide body is hot! I can't wait to see it painted. Very nice car, definatly cleaner than mine.
Thanks. I got another idea for wideboby which would look cleaner and not so wild. In Finland we have long winter and celica will be in my garage so lets see what I´ll do..
wow tons of custom work! Does the wide body extent the fenders or just the front bumper? Anything done under the hood?
I love the widebody look and is definetly something I want to do in the future IMSA Styling Modifications Excellent work keep us updated
Yeah, it does extent the fender about 2"/side, bumper is made by TRC and it´s made to fit in AE101 corolla. It was too wide so that gave me idea for doing widebody. Under hood is just stock engine, but I´m doing new exhaust with ST182 exhaust manifold. Although, I´ve been looking for 3s-gte engine for swap.
wow man that is one sweet car. i enjoyed looking at all the pics. so nice. what made you go with those rear view mirrors? they are definately different. i like the paint. its nice. what happened to your rear spoiler? have something else in mind? very very nice!
Thanks, I didn´t like orginal mirrors, those are from ST182. Same thing with rear spoiler, I was preparing car from new paint and I have to take spoiler out and like rear without spoiler.
really nice work on the widebody setup!! its coming along great, i say keep going with it, unless you have an even BETTER idea ?! nice colour choice too! and rims haha nice car all round really
Car looks great, it's definetly progressed a far way. I like the grill especially, keep us updated and gl. Shaun
that widebody looks sweet usually when people try to fab there own stuff it just doesnt look right but that looks TOUGH! i say get some night shades on the corner lights to blend with the whole front look and i love the grill iv been thinking about doing the same myself keep it up and keep us all posted
When I saw the widebody, is was immediately thinking IMSA celica. If it would cost so much I'd probably have it on my race car. That'll be really cool if you complete it. Any plans for the rear quaters?
