I raced in a sprint and hill climb championship as you can see bt the CCC97 sticker. I finished 3rd in class twice, 4th 4 times and only once was I out of the top 6 in class. Good enough for 3rd overall in my class. Sadly the car was broken up for parts after the end of the season, as I ran out of money But it was a great fun time, and in many ways this car is the orginal Trinity and the inspiration for my racing this year and next with Trinity
yeah it was fantastic on dry smooth surfaces, really tidy, but not over tyred, so you could really get it in to corners well, It used to be set up to just drift in oversteer at the limit. But the live rear axle was a nightmare on bumpy surfaces, even the LSD it was tricky and in the wet OMG was it a handfull, it cam on cam at 4,000rpm, reving to 7,200. and it would spin up in first, 2nd and sometimes 3rd!. It was a great fun car and I miss it badly... really badly. Sprey, it was sold for parts as that was the only way I could get some of the money I had invested back. I always love red cars, just something about them I love, so hebce why trinity is red too!!
hahaha i BET it was a handful in the wet. dont doubt you a bit lol how much fun!!!! i would love a project like that
