I'm afraid so i have it bad lol. Although we have just got our eldest son a Hyundai coupe to learn on which we will be using until he passes his test then will give it to him for his first car. The Celica was way to dear to insure for him. We have even turned the wife's brother to the celica he has a gen 6 202 know
Damn, that red 165 is freaking awesome, please post a bunch of pics or a link to more pics. I want them for my 165 picture collection.:naughty
Hey Shaun thanks for the pics, especially like the "straight on" views of the car, to me it has a menacing look. Toyota was way ahead of their time on styling, don't you think?, still makes most cars on the road look like garbage. Concerning the red on the grille and front badge, did you paint those and if so, how did you do it so cleanly? BTW, all of your cars look great, but "red" is definitely a keeper.
They were way a head of their time the shape never seams to date. I have people say how intimidating she looks when coming up behind them lol Has for the red badge and celica sign the wife painted the toyota 4wd badge she has a very steady hand and loves to help work on the cars the white vert is hers. The CELICA i had made by a mate over on CCUK to match the size and font of the original that is stamp in the grill under the smoke cover. She's definitely a keeper and if or when the engine gives up the ghost i am going to transplant a 205 lump in her or something similar. It's been done so lots of info out their to help. She already has the 205 gear box
