Yeh it just makes it fresher, sharper lines. The only thing I am gonna do is color code and refit the rear mudflaps. From behind it looks all tyre and by fitting the flaps it will seem to bring the whole rear end down if you know what I mean. Cant refit fronts cause I have removed the sill trim too so would leave a large gap!

I thought of removing the side rubber trims but they do a good job of preventing other cars from chipping your paint.
I left the rear flaps off, I like the look of the tyres from the rear and it keeps tailgaiters away.
I kept the front flaps as they help keep the doors clean and the bottom trims keep mud down where it belongs, I don't think painting the flaps is going to work too well.

Love the colour, Looks like the same as the ST231 in the backround of that vid.
I've seen some showcars a similar colour with purple added which gives a flip-flop effect and when I asked was told it's damn expensive.
Why did they put black underneath? Most put silver underneath for more shine

The sill trims are a pain, they're all rusting from the inside so I suggest find some from a convertible/JDM GT4 which are the wider stainless type seen on the WRC cars but you'll need to swap the front flaps as well.

Not very visible on a black car but looks fatter and meaner, 5mm rear spacers need to be swapped for 20mm to get the full effect

Side strips definately have the advantage of preventing car park dings but I gotta park out the way lol. Think I might have to swap the wheels due to the offset is catching the front wheel arches, bummer! Mudflaps on a black car look ok but not so much black on blue for me,the 165 color coded flaps look great so thats what swung it for me. As far as the paint, its not a flip type, its just got a nice deep mica pearl and metallic, the black undercoat gives depth to the paint too and alters in different light sources, from a dark blue to purple ish. Its just the standard subaru mica blue I think.I will check with the paint guy,I sort of left it to him as he suggested the color originally which is pretty close to the original factory blue.
