In the Uk New master cylinders are unavailable so we have to use the rebuild kits, trouble is that most of the master cylinders have bores that are already scored or too worn.

Can you get them new in the US at all?? or has anybody gone for a of the shelf upgrade at all?

Help appreciated as having long travelling brake pedal is getting to be a drag!!

    hi Rich,

have you thought about going down the st205 route: swapping out master cyl and brake servo etc?

    hi guys,

Will check re the 185 mc that would be helpful, Gary did think about going the 205 route, but talking to Betsy he says that his pedal feel was worse with the 205 unit than even the standard brakes on Stan. Maybe thinking going a custom AP unit way, in prep for the big brake conversion late this year.
