Honestly it's a first trying to upload them here, I'll try it from desktop later. It may just not be on vimeo yet.

It will run with fuel pump jumped

It will not run with nothing jumped.

If I give it gas, it dies with the fuel pump jumped

    Nice build. Two questions:
    1) what are those rims? Love the 'rally rim' look!
    2) how easy was it to replace the oil pan? (I gotta do mine soon)

They're Fortran Drag Valkyries, thanks for asking :D

Oil pan was easy, but check your pan for warp also. I sealed it four times before finally buying a new one, which sealed properly.

For the oil pan, did you use an actual cork gasket or FIPG/silicone?

    FIPG from the dealership.

    So, a little update.

I'm having some issues with idling and starting, but after the initial rough behavior it runs and idles fine. I've more or less tracked it down (as in, there's nothing wrong with anything else) to the sensors on the waterneck. I replaced my original waterneck (rotted out) with one from the scrapyard, thinking that if the sensors were bad i could just buy new ones. Turns out, they're a lot more than I expected >,>

Other news, the test drive did not go well. As before, the clutch started slipping after the car warmed up... I'll be troubleshooting this once the car is continually running.

But, it's also been towed to my house! So at least I can get back to work. Soon I should be doing/finishing my 5x114.3 hub swap and ST185 brake conversion. I'll keep you guys posted.

After an extremely, extremely, extremely long and tiring day, I have run a little over 30ft of new vacuum line, some coolant line, replaced the air filter, replaced the waterneck sensors, re ran a section of fuel line, and re ran two grounds, turns out it wasn't even an issue with any of that stuff.

I plugged in two sensors backwards.

    Live and learn...

Anyway, other than running a little on the rough side, I'm a tune up away from 100% no running issues. Then to figure out why it won't move...

As always, it seems rain comes when you least want it to. But nevertheless, I managed to get the CV axle back in and the hub reassembled. After making sure everything was torqued properly, I took it for a drive. Slipping seems to be mostly gone, but I kept the RPM's low and didn't downshift. Tomorrow I'll be taking her for a ride around town, and see what she does. I'll be adjusting the clutch pedal a bit.

    Change in the Winds

So, little update, I've begun to sell out parts of my parts hoard so I can start to buy other stuff. I may post stuff up here in the for sale area at some point, but for right now it's kind of limited to my friends and a few others.

Anywho, Car is running flawlessly... well almost. After now 300 miles I have barely lost a drop of oil (barely only because I know I burn some at startup), and I seem to have an unidentified idle issue that makes it fluctuate back and forth in pulses from 1000-1200. But for right now, I'm not going to worry about it. I should have another engine coming here within the next few weeks so I can finish up the repairs, as well as some more bay pieces for Project S'mores. I'll try to keep you guys updated with new info as I can :3

(got some other stuff in the mail too, I'll post it when I get home)

Well, I guess it's time for an update. She finally died in December when the head gasket split on the outside edge and she started puking coolant all over the parking lot.

Rebuilding motor now. Entire car is being torn down, cleaned, resprayed, and reassembled. Maybe not quite as nice as The Garden Find, but hey, I try.

Sorry to hear that man, but glad you are staying the course. Best of luck on the rebuild.
