i have stumbled upon a magnaflow cat for my gt-s, or so ebay says  . anyways i was wondering if anyone has had any experiences with the magnaflow cat and if so howed it work out for you? also i am trying to make exhaust mods to my car and have been reading about 2.25" diameter for the pipe. would 2.5" be too big for an n/a gt-s? also, i was looking into possibly doing dual exhaust with maybe a fake can on one side. dunno bout that one though.

That quarter inch shouldn't matter all that much, as long as you can mount it, somehow, on the exhaust already on the car. It might cause some issues, but then again, who knows? It would be really cool to see a dual exhaust... A functional one, would be best! ;)

I have one, installed it and failed etest. Im going back for the 3rd time tonight after replacing the MAF and O2 sensor. If its a universal cat you can just weld it on/clamp it or w/e. If I fail again Im gonna order a second one, they are like $55 and install it after my current one, and just take it off between etests and repalce with pipe

personally I'm not really a huge fan of dual exhausts on cars like ours... mostly cauz its not a true dual exhaust its just two tips (one on each side of the car) kinda thing. it wouldn't really have any function just looks and even then I'm not sure how it would look.
