Here we call it re-conditioning. Nice paint job :mrgreen It's actually not that hard to work on these. The rack itself is generally ok, the most important new part for the rack is the spline for the steering column....... these wear and create 'play' or 'loose' steering wheel feel.
Me too bought one from the US a couple weeks ago, but I'll have to wait until early october for it to arrive. I'm already very keen to feel the difference
Yes, it comes on a boat through a shipping company that specializes in shipping from the US to Europe. Shipping cost comes out from 50 USD, item was 125 USD, so a total of 175, instead of 125 + 200 for shipping, + 50 customs fee and + 80 for taxes...
i still havent had time to do this, been held up with hospital and other crap going on....hoping to get this done quickly tho.
do yourself a favor when you go to install this: get new outer tie rods remove the PS cooler tube and install a small tube and fin cooler remove all the old fluid and use mercon transmission fluid to refill it makes the biggest difference in the world.
Isnt any fuild left in there.......im not to good at the modding sometimes plis i dont have alot of sown time planned for her....just a quick replacement of the rack...both motor mounts and of course new outer tie rods with an alignment.
Mine too, they shipped it for free to the shipping company, so I only pay 50 usd to them, for bringing it home.
